Olive Wood Mortar & Pestle

This handmade Olive wood mortar & pestle set is a really special piece. Each one is made by hand, with the artist placing particular emphasis on maintaining the slightly rustic edge of the sawn timber. Each piece is unique with an irregular grain pattern and a smooth surface.

The mortar is ideal for grinding spices as well as chopping herbs and nuts.

This beautiful piece conjures up a warm Mediterranean atmosphere in any kitchen.

Each piece is unique and as such, all have slightly different dimensions. They measure approximately 12cms in diameter.

To clean, we recommend warm water and if necessary, a little detergent. To keep it at it's best, rub with a little vegetable oil occasionally.
